Farm CCTV Installation in Hertford Heath

Hertford Heath sits in Hertfordshire — Village greens, Haileybury’s campus edge, and houses backing woodland — listed and conservation constraints show up on surveys. That is the context we survey against when we specify farm cctv.

We design, supply, install and support farm cctv for farms and rural estates across Hertford Heath and the surrounding Hertfordshire towns. The survey is free; the proposal is fixed-price; the install is documented and handed over with remote access already working.

Working farms, livery yards, smallholdings and rural estates that have already lost tools, fuel or livestock to a night-time visit.

What we install

  • Lane, yard, fuel, workshop and barn camera plan
  • Wireless links to outbuildings without a trench
  • ANPR or a well-placed plate view on the entrance
  • Sirens and flood triggers on the alarm contact
  • Recorder in the farm office or house
  • Power and surge protection for exposed barns

How a Hertford Heath job runs

An engineer visits the Hertford Heath property, marks camera or device positions, and notes power, cable routes and any listed-building or landlord constraints. You get a written proposal within 48 hours. Certified engineers then install, label and test every device — typically in one or two days for a house, longer for a commercial site — and walk you through the app before they leave.

Hoddesdon is our home patch, so Hertford Heath (SG13) is a normal travel job, not a long-distance add-on. Nationwide commercial work is still available when a group has other sites further out.

Questions

We have no spare ducts. Can you still do it?

Often yes. Point-to-point wireless between the house and a barn is a standard farm job, provided we have line of sight. We will tell you on the survey if a trench is the only honest answer.

Will it catch number plates on a dark lane?

A dedicated plate view or ANPR camera will. A general yard camera usually will not. We separate those jobs so you are not disappointed by a wide shot at 2am.

Does it need a strong broadband line?

Recording is local. Broadband is only for remote viewing. A modest rural line is enough for live view; we do not push 4K streams up a 10 Mb upload.
